ANCESTORS IN ASTROLOGY
This course is offered as Spring seasonal special. Part 1 of the course is on Monday, May 22, 4-5:30pm Pacific. Part 2 is on Monday, May 29, 4-5:30pm Pacific.
In two parts, this course teaches you how to locate your ancestors in your birth chart using Western Hellenistic astrology. You will learn to interpret what ancestral material they have passed down to you: their hurts and harms, their joy and courage, as well as their wisdom and knowledge.
This course teaches an astrological method of connecting to ancestors. It is not a reading, so you will not get a full download of ancestral messages, nor will we be channeling your ancestors directly. Rather, you will be establish a foundation to build upon for developing a deeper relationship with your ancestors and the gifts and challenges you have inherited from them.
In Part 1, we will study your known and unknown ancestors. We will use planetary condition to get a far more in-depth interpretation than would otherwise be possible. In Part 2, you will learn how to locate specific ancestors in your chart, such as great grandparents or other deceased loved ones, using the derived houses method. The two parts of the course can also be taken as stand-alone workshops. You do not need to attend both classes.
This workshop is being offered freely in honor of your healing, your ancestors’ healing, and in loving care of our descendants.
PREREQUISITES
This workshop is not suitable for beginners. It is for astrology enthusiasts and/or students who have basic knowledge of astrology and familiarity with their own natal charts. Below are some parameters to help you discern the fit. This class is for you if:
You previously completed my course, On Purpose OR
You are familiar with the following:
12 signs
7 traditional planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn)
At least a conceptual understanding of the 12 houses (you do not need to know what each one represents)
At least a conceptual familiarity with aspects.
You can pull up your natal chart using whole sign houses.
BONUS: You will get even more out of this workshop if you know about planetary rulership, that each zodiac sign is ruled by a planet, even if you don’t know which ones exactly. Even better if you are familiar with other dignity rulerships such as exaltation, triplicty, etc.
EXTRA BONUS: You know about sect, retrograde motion, solar phase, and planetary speed.
